The religion follows the Byzantine Orthodox rite.

Cross-country skiing and Nordic walking center run by the Terranova del Pollino ski club in Piano Giumenta: www.pollinosci.it for info, ski lessons, excursions and assistance. The center has bathrooms and a small bar stocked with drinks, coffee and some snacks for breakfast. An excellent refreshment point with the presence of benches and deck chairs.

the photo was taken at the entrance of the path that leads to the avifaunal observatory which alas seems abandoned. this is also an excellent point for a summer break, with sufficient shade guaranteed by the pines
