The Sanctuary of Santa Maria della Serra is the Mother Church of Montalto Uffugo. It was built in the 13th century on the remains of an older church, and was restored several times due to earthquakes. It is famous for the miracle of the tearing of a statue of the Madonna which occurred in 1572.

Among the monuments to visit are the churches of San Benedetto Abate, the Virgin Mother, San Rocco and San Giovanni Battista and in the mountain area there is the Laghicello, a small natural lake surrounded by a beech forest.

The Rendano theater of Cosenza is the municipal theater of the city, dedicated to the musician Alfonso Rendano. It is located in the historic center and was inaugurated in 1909 with Verdi's Aida. It has a horseshoe-shaped hall with more than 800 seats and hosts performances of various genres.
