Neo-Gothic hall church from 1854 with a fieldstone base built on the site of several previous buildings. Square west tower

The church is a fieldstone structure with a flat roof, rectangular in plan, dating from the second half of the 13th century, with a slightly wider western tower, topped by a weatherboarded gable with a slender dome dating from 1699. The tower was renovated between 1994 and 1998. To the north is a brick sacristy with a 15th-century gable. To the south is a vestibule with a staircase to the patron's lodge dating from the first half of the 17th century. In 1853, the windows were enlarged, and the eastern gable was built. Above the three-story western portal are three flat, arched fieldstone panels, and at the height of the ship's eaves, a recess in the wall of the western tower. The interior was restored in 1968 and 2003–2005, with the western gallery dating from 1865.

The castle park is surrounded by a high wall and is off-limits. It's a bit disappointing that you can only see the castle from one side.

First mentioned as a castle at the end of the 12th century, Penkun Castle is today one of the last remaining castles of the Pomeranian Dukes. The castle association runs a border and customs museum in the former administrator's house, and there is a small exhibition on the judicial system in Pomerania in the castle cellar.

Wartin Castle was built in 1695 under Captain Christoph von der Osten as the manor house of the Wartin manor. It was rebuilt and renovated after 1991 by the "European Academy" association. Today it is used by this association and is a meeting place for artists and scientists from all over the world. Opposite the castle there is a riding stable. A bathing beach at the Schlosssee in Penkun. Unfortunately, the sandy beach is now overgrown with grass and weeds. There is also a small beach volleyball court.
