Waldenburg Castle. Information: Built in the Historicist style, incorporating medieval architectural elements. It dates back to a castle built in the 12th century, presumably between 1165 and 1172.

Portal of Quiet Nature Enjoyment, in Grünfelder Park in Waldenburg. Information: Renaissance portal made of red sandstone, originally from Waldenburg Castle, which burned down in 1619. It bears an inscription from the park's founding: "To Quiet Nature Enjoyment." It was initially displayed as a ruin and received its current appearance after renovations in 1844.

The small weir has a fish ladder and you have a great view of the suspension bridge directly from the water, which offers a great photo opportunity.

The Wolkenburg mill can look back on a history spanning more than 500 years. It was first mentioned in a document in a letter of enfeoffment for Hans von Maltitz on November 6, 1472. In earlier centuries, the mill was not only a grinding mill, but also a cutting mill, oil mill and paint mill. A bakery was also part of the mill operation. It was located in the corner of the house and stable building. After the fire in 1889, it was no longer in operation.
