Villetta Barrea is located on the Sangro river in the shadow of Mount Mattone and it is not uncommon for you to come across splendid specimens of deer in its streets. The town was built around the 13th century castle. There are two museums to visit, the transhumance museum and the water museum.

The descent is absolutely not of medium difficulty. It is to all intents and purposes a descent for experts with good riding skills. Avoid if you are looking for an intermediate ride with people not level. Or know that you will be pushing the bike on a single track with rocks, roots and technical passages. THE VIEW IS FANTASTIC.
