In this area, it is recommended to use the path directly along the canal. Komoot recommends a path on the other side of a ditch (see 2nd photo), but the quality of the path is very poor. Maybe OK for hiking, but not recommended for cycling. The path along the canal, on the other hand, is easy to ride and beautiful.

It's nice here. Sometimes on foot on the narrow paths through the forest.

Between Kronsberg and Mittelland Canal, you can just go for a quiet walk and enjoy nature. If you are lucky you can also see wildlife as I saw today.

The paths are currently cleared along the route. If there was a storm beforehand, I definitely wouldn't drive along there.
