The mountains in the background as a backdrop, the wonderful view over the Hopfensee, a really beautiful sight. The circuit around the lake is an experience, easy to navigate paths, stays in the memory. Also worth it as a destination for a tour, worth seeing.

The tour around Hopfensee is not to be missed. Idyllically situated lake, with the mountains in the background as a backdrop, a truly beautiful experience. It's worth it!

Whether you're on foot or by bike, you should plan to visit Hopfensee. There are plenty of places to eat in the town. In summer it's mostly overrun by day-trippers - by car. It's a different story on the circular route, but there are a lot of cyclists. The left side of the circular route is very idyllic in places, see photos. A lovely hike around the lake not just in summer, but also in winter.
