Around the Hopfensee, a much-walked, level hiking trail with a length of almost 7 km. On nice weekends a bit crowded. For non-dormant patients there is a possibility to evade the Hopfener castle ruins, a bit steeper but with a beautiful view over the lake.

The Hopfensee is a maximum of 2.1 kilometers long lake with a circumference of 6.8 kilometers north of Füssen in the district Ostallgäu, Bavarian Swabia, Bavaria. There are many possibilities here that can be perceived. Camping is also possible here on the camp site located directly on the lake. In addition to small beautiful restaurants, there is also a beach (closed from 1 October). The loop around the lake is about 8 km. Nordic walkers will also be on the designated Nordic Walking route for their enjoyment!
