This symbolizes purity and is the heraldic animal of the Counts of Schwangau, to which Ludwig II belonged. This bird can be seen everywhere, on the faucets, stained-glass windows, and even on the roof of the royal carriage.

Fantastic view of the lake and the Alpine panorama. Almost nothing more is possible. Great tour around the lake, highly recommended, worth it.

Beautiful view of the Alpine landscape and the Alpsee! There is a view of the magnificent mountain panorama around Schwangau. Impressive and recommended!

The cycle path runs along a road at this point. A small, concrete path leads down to the lake on the left. There is a great view from the shore over the lake. The water is warm, at least we were with our feet in the lake.
