Swampy section within the former castle park. There used to be a large meadow here, which has now turned into an alder swamp forest.

You should go all the way around. It is also nice to take the path with a section along the Hellmühler river.

Highly recommend hiking through the Brandenburg Everglades.

This is where the local hunter sits. Unfortunately, we didn't have any cold packs, otherwise I would go straight to the Wildhack here.

The east bank in particular is difficult to drive. Magnificent views of the lake. Lots of hikers on the way.

Fine place for a break - with a canopy for bad weather.

Beautifully shaded hiking trail and part of the Hellsee circular hiking trail. The swamp can be admired on both sides.
