Great beach, fantastic view of the lake, benches (unfortunately too few) – you'd love to be here and relax. However, it's not entirely quiet. It's very crowded. You can swim elsewhere. The water only gets deeper very gradually, so you have to go out quite far to even swim! – ideal for children, too.

A beautiful, secluded swimming spot. Best visited in the morning.

Fountain at the lido

It is part of the Biesenthal-Wandlitz-Prenden lake district, which includes around 30 large and small lakes. This water landscape was created during the Weichselian Ice Age and is only around 170 metres wide, but almost 13 times as long. As the lake is privately owned, you should use the few small free spaces you can find, as most of it is fenced off and inaccessible.

The Wandlitzsee lido offers all kinds of variety: a wonderful lawn for sunbathing, crystal-clear lake water, a playground, boat and SUP rentals and diving platforms. If you want to do some sport, there are also table tennis tables and a volleyball court. A snack bar provides refreshments. The fountain is called the Fisherman's Fountain. The bronze statue is by Berlin artist Michael Klein and was created in 2000.
