Summer time: daily 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Winter time: daily 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time. Chorin Monastery is closed on December 24th and 31st. On all other public holidays the monastery is open during regular opening hours.
I can only recommend the Chorin Music Summer. The acoustics are great here! But get your tickets early, they are in high demand!

Bike path suitable for racing cyclists but also for beginners and children. Only the last few kilometers before the boat lift are on the road. If you don't like that, you can go down from the towpath in Eberswalde and go to the train station

The first Finow Canal was built between 1605 and 1620 and was the first artificial connection between the two German river basins, the Havel and the Oder. As a result of the Thirty Years' War, the canal was almost completely neglected and the individual sections of the canal fell into disrepair. The Finow Canal was forgotten. From 1743 the canal was restored by decree of Frederick II.
