A weekend house with a fascinating history

It's easy to walk past it if you don't look closely. Located right on the bank, only a small path from the playground leads there. Very worth seeing and a nice photo opportunity

Beautiful swimming area with a large lawn at the Moorloch, right next door is the Bootshaus restaurant with a large terrace

Here you have a great view over the Groß Glienicker See and a small, not so popular bathing area.

Small bathing area near Alexander Haus. In summer usually not as crowded as the official bathing areas!

Great sight! Visible from the wall path by the lake. Access via the street “Am Park”. A guided tour is absolutely recommended!

Alexander House – the house on Lake Glienicke The Summer House Alexander is a listed building on the banks of Lake Groß-Glienicker See. It was commissioned in 1927 by the Berlin doctor and then President of the Berlin Medical Association, Dr. Alfred Alexander built it as a weekend and summer home for his family. It has now been restored and can be visited.

Gutshof Glienicke, the Spandauer Tor and the adjacent Gutspark. The Gutspark Groß Glienicke is a landscape park that originally belonged to the Groß Glienicke Manor at the northern end of the Groß Glienicke Lake. The manor belonged to various noble families of the Mark. When the boundary was drawn, the estate was divided into a “west” and “east” part.
