In 1842, Ludwig Persius designed three forest houses on the edge and this one in the middle for the forest officials.

A nice place to stop, especially for hikers. 4-5 paths lead to a parasol... in the middle of the forest. There is a nice place to sit... and great big areas for playing. Ideal with children or groups!

The large meadow around the star is also suitable for nice picnics and wild football games.

Forsthaus Sanssoucitor was built in 1842 as the main entrance to the wildlife park. The Potsdam Animal Clinic has been located in the listed building since 1977.
