The Alsterpark runs along the banks of the Alster around the Outer Alster and includes the areas of Schwanenwik, the Eduard-Rhein-Ufer and the Alster foreland. Beginning in the south, the park runs east through the districts of St. Georg, Hohenfelde, Uhlenhorst and Winterhude, from the Krugkupplung Bridge west through the Alster foreland in Harvestehude and Rotherbaum to the Kennedy Bridge at the transition to the Binnenalster.
