Ferring Sø is an inland lake that lies directly on the North Sea. It couldn't be more beautiful. A beautiful, rugged part of Denmark's west coast. The lake is only separated from the sea by a narrow sand dike. A complete circuit is about 9km.

I would use the path down by Ferring Sø. There you can make much better progress and also have a nice view!

Just enjoy the moment and the view. There is something very idyllic about Ferring Sø.

The shelters cannot be booked. The principle applies: first come, first served. Stay a night or two at the site. If one has already spent a night in the shelters, newcomers have priority to use the space. Leave the space and nature you would like to find yourself. The use of radio, generator or other devices that cause unnecessary noise on the pitch is prohibited. There is a toilet at Jens Søndergård Museum - 1.5 km south along the cycle path. There is also water here. You have to bring firewood with you or buy it from one of the local wood sellers.

The dune cycle path is really great, on one side the North Sea on the other side the view of Ferring Sø. The downside, depending on the wind, there is a lot of sand and then unfortunately also phases where you can't get through so well with a bike.
