The bridge connects Zeeburgereiland and Amsterdam-Noord. As an extension of the Schellingwouderbrug, the Amsterdamsebrug is located over the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal between the Zeeburgereiland and the Zeeburgerdijk, near the Flevopark.

The Schellingwouderbrug is an excellent connection, just as easy climbing, wide view over Amsterdam and the Buiten-IJ. Bridge does open occasionally so you can be out of luck.

You can only cycle under the new seawall between the Holysloot exit and the connection to the cycle path along the road between Monnickendam and Marken. Between Durgerdam and the exit to Holysloot, the roadway, etc., is still blocked due to the reconstruction of the Zeedijk. Conclusion: cycling on top of the top of the Zeedijk and on the foreshore of this sea dike is not yet possible. I've mentioned this to Komoot before. Jan Risseeuw
