The school museum in Wartha is always worth a visit. You can learn a lot of interesting facts about the school and lessons from around 70 years ago. It is really exciting and informative.

The location is slightly out of the way and therefore wonderfully quiet. Perfect for observing animals over water and meadows.

It was once the largest brown coal power plant in the GDR with more than 4,000 employees. The Boxberg power plant has been in operation for more than half a century and has been partially shut down, modernized and rebuilt.
