The town hall was built in 1928 and features a 40-meter-high clock tower. It is the seat of the city administration.

Both the main road and the cycle path along the old railway line offer beautiful views of the castle and church. Road cyclists usually use the road when traffic is light and the traffic lights are off, as it's faster and shorter. The railway cycle path is a bit longer and more winding, but more interesting, safer, and offers better views. If traffic is heavy, choose the latter. The cycle path is also paved throughout.

After crossing the bridge, you can either drive across the former border to Horb or along the Steinach River to Heubisch. Both roads are paved and easily accessible.
