A visit is worthwhile even in "bad" weather, it is then somewhat mystical due to its location in the forest

A tiny little valley, barely a hundred meters long but beautiful.

Nice and easy hollow way trail, not really hidden, it is part of the red and blue MTB routes from the Walderlebniszentrum Trassem. The start of this way has a fallen trunk but you can easily avoid it on the right adding a bit of extra manoeuvring but the end is covered with a full fledged fallen tree blocking entirely the passage and forcing people to climb the embankment.

Fantastically beautiful walking path, NOT SUITABLE FOR CYCLING. Small streams are great for cooling off. Definitely a little highlight.

The site is accessible 24 hours a day, all year round. You can reach the temple district from the town of Tawern by following the signs to a car park with space for around ten vehicles. From there, a forest service road continues, which passes the temple district after around 800 metres.
