Nice café in an old railway carriage

The sign points to an old Roman road. In reality, however, you shouldn't expect a well-traveled road made of historic cobblestones. Rather, it's a single trail that doesn't seem to be used very often. Still, it's quite manageable, though it's definitely for experienced hikers. There are a few nettles, but not too high and only on one side.

Here you cross the Bierbach, which flows into the Prüm shortly afterwards. I tried it. It tastes even more watery than Kölsch... :D

Former railway junction now a cycle path junction with a historic construction train, bistro, home-made cakes, model railway and bike service station. Great atmosphere.

There is a beautiful "bistro" in an old converted and restored train carriage. Limited opening hours. Payments only with cash.

Here you can treat yourself to a delicious cup of coffee after a hike or walk. But delicious homemade cakes are also available. There is also an e-bike charging station on site.

Unfortunately, the lake is no longer attractive. There are many trees and branches in the lake and also algae. Swimming and fishing is prohibited. Also, there are no more pedal boats. The Dorint Sporthotel is closed. A kiosk with snacks and a pizzeria are still open. A pity.

Beautiful on the Prümtal cycle path, view of the Enztalbahn viaduct. Unfortunately there is no bike path there yet. The climb there is very demanding.
