From Plancher-Bas or Plancher-les-Mines, the only difficulty is the Belfahy hill: around 500 m at 10-15%.

This small, unguarded shelter, called the Salley refuge or Luthier's chalet, has everything a hiker could want: shelter at night; an idyllic setting at Ballon de Servance; a magnificent view of the Ballon d'Alsace; a charming little fountain; and even a stele in memory of American soldiers of the Cold War for the historical aspect.

Road with little traffic and tired pavement (summer 2022). It's beautiful and calm.

A much less frequented place than the Planche des Belles Filles, the climb is just as long, even if less steep. The beautiful girls loop offers a very beautiful outing with remarkable landscapes and roads

The slope is very steep and the landscape on arrival remarkable. The inscriptions on the road and even the encouragement of people encountered along the ascent also contribute to the myth

Beast of a climb where it is still 3.5 km from Miellin to the top. Through the forest, irregularly and with firm strips on average road surface. The descent from Belfahy towards Plancher les Mines runs on very good asphalt and is simply enjoyable
