A truly magnificent panoramic view of the Niederburg castle and the Moselle Valley from Kobern-Gondorf. The wine bar on the Oberburg castle at Matthias Chapel is open Thursday to Sunday. It's better with a glass of Moselle wine—but you don't have to drink to enjoy the view... it's perfectly fine without wine. 👍

Very nice hike great pictures

The portal to the town's circular hiking trail with route and information board is located at Raiffeisenplatz in Lonnig. Opposite there is a fountain and the parking lot has a capacity of up to six cars.

Unfortunately, the small tree that was planted behind the bench will not provide shade for a number of years; until then, the bench will be in the blazing sun, albeit protected from the wind.

Nice, shady place for a rest.
