The Stone Gate in the west of Loitz dates back in part to the 14th century. The building, along with the remains of the city wall, is a listed monument.

If you drive towards the harbor and the bridge, you will find such works of art on various house walls.

Here in Loitz you can see the Peene in different facets. Idyllic, well-kept gardens lie on its banks and you will also find a resting place for water hikers, where you can of course take a break with your bike directly on the shady banks of the Peene.
