It is a very nice and relaxing bike ride through nature, when the weather is nice you can also cool off in some places

The bird dam in the raised moor area of the Steinhuder Meer Nature Park. The moor is home to a variety of rare animal and plant species on 2300 hectares. It provides a habitat for peat mosses, cotton grass and sundew. The animal world is also very impressive; in addition to rare bird species such as cranes, ferruginous ducks and ospreys, various dragonfly and butterfly species as well as moor frogs and adders also find their habitat here.
