It's worth a break

The very tip (where you can only continue on foot) is still cordoned off with tape (storm surge October 2023). Up to that point you can easily drive if it is not too crowded. There are 2 benches near the tape with a great view

The cliffs in the west continue to change shape and color over the years. It is partially covered by vegetation. But the slanting bands of the various sand deposits can still be clearly seen... The cliffs provide living space for sand martins. But wind and waves also cause erosion of the cliff, whereupon the removed material is moved along the beach 😏...

The Roikier See (also: Roikiersee) is a forest lake that is part of the Groß-Tremmerup forest near Glücksburg (Baltic Sea). It is approximately 3.6 hectares in size and is probably the only real forest lake in the fishing region. The Roikier See was created in the 13th century from a moor area cleared by monks from the Cistercian monastery in Glücksburg at the time. The lake was used for fresh water supply and carp breeding. Holnis (Danish: Holnæs) is a peninsula in the Baltic Sea that extends 6 km northeast of the city of Glücksburg into the Flensburg Fjord. Holnis was originally an island that was only connected to the mainland via a causeway in modern times. Parts of the peninsula are designated as a nature reserve: the small Noor, as well as the cliffs, the salt marsh, the northern beach and the areas on the dike from Schausende are protected. The Holnis Peninsula is home to an important seabird breeding colony. Holnis is the most northeastern point of mainland Germany.
