An old medieval weir, extensively renovated in 1999 and restored to its current form. The so-called Bobritz Dam supplies water to the mill race, which was used to feed the mills at the time, and also drains floodwater into the Mulde River. It's a very idyllic spot. From here, however, you can't go any further; you have to walk north again. It's definitely worth the detour!

Several hiking trails lead to Gesundbrunnen, which can also be experienced as a circular hike. At the Gesundbrunnen you can enjoy idyllic peace, listen to the birds and thanks to the refuge and other benches you can take a break here.

Today again at the state border on the way to Tornau on the Heide Biber Weg to the wooden sculpture meadow. This is one of the jewels of the Düben Heath. The heath artist Köppe conducted workshops on the subject of wooden sculptures with international participation in the mid-1990s. The workshops developed into the international wood sculpture competition "Art with Chainsaws", which is held annually on the last weekend in July on the wood sculpture meadow. The sculptures made there remain on the meadow or are set up in the nature park. A sculpture meadow gradually developed.

The sculpture meadow is known far beyond the borders. Every last weekend in July, thousands of guests enjoy the most beautiful folk festival in the Dübener Heide Nature Park. At the wood sculpture competition "Art with Chainsaws", wood artists from near and far meet and measure their skills. Stunning wooden figures are created from massive tree trunks. Really impressive!
