After the years 1681, the spring disappeared at some point and was rediscovered in 1761. The Majesty of Denmark, Norway and Schleswig-Holstein was informed that a guard should be set up to maintain order here, as the number of people seeking help at the Gesundbrunnen was too great.

Currently only open Wednesdays from 2-6 pm (as of May 2025) but also worth seeing from the outside

The Wittenborner Heide nature reserve remained nutrient-poor and unfertilized due to its previous use as a military training area. This resulted in a diverse landscape of heathland, moors and sparse forests that provide a habitat for many species. You can hike through a very beautiful landscape that is always worth a visit.

A quiet place that invites you to linger. Information board with the history of the fountain and the spa town of Bad Bramstedt.

The butterfly garden - this is a NABU Kisdorfer Wohld project with the aim of creating a near-natural garden with habitats for butterflies and other insects on 3 hectares of land. For example, a dwelling for forest lizards, which namely do not lay eggs, but give birth alive. In mid-November you don't get to see a lot of colorful things there (note to me: come back in spring), but it does have a magic ✨! Together with a round in the amusement park, it's always worth it.
