Located in the middle of the beech forest are these fish ponds, which belonged to the Althof and Doberan monastery estate.

The old beech forest has changed a lot in the last 7 years due to drought and storms. This forest has suffered a lot. Unfortunately, the paths were not always well maintained and the bridges over the streams have broken. Here, hikers and bikers have helped themselves and shown initiative. The town of Bad Doberan has not done anything for a long time, and the spa forest has become neglected. What a pity.

Coming from Neubukow, you walk directly past the fish ladder. A display board provides various information. Diagonally opposite, the path leads along the edge of the field to the beautiful Hellbachtal.

A beautiful forest and very pleasant to walk through.

Behind the old water mill you come to the Hellbach, to which a beautifully designed fish ladder leads. An interesting fish ladder paves the way for the fish upstream.

In the middle of Bad Doberan is the park with the white and red pavilion. Two beautiful buildings that fit perfectly into the park.
