Ponds located in the Diekseeholm forest that were previously used for fish farming. This natural attraction in Malente was created in 1869 for the breeding of noble fish. The ponds are fed by fresh spring water from the "Diekseeholm" forest area. They are connected to each other by small streams and channels. The ponds got their name because the surrounding trees are reflected particularly beautifully in the calm, smooth water. In the immediate vicinity of the mirror ponds is one of Malente's Kneipp pools: a natural water treading area and an arm Kneipp pool.

This lake also offers great opportunities for anglers. You can catch eels, perch, bream, pike, tench, zander, carp, roach, rudd, and burbot. Kellersee borders Malente to the east. It has a total area of approximately 50.6 hectares and a maximum depth of approximately 27 meters. A 14.6 km hiking trail surrounds the lake, including several highlights along the way. These include, for example, the "WunderWeltWasser" nature trail for all ages and the Rothensande estate, the original setting for the Immenhof films. Kellersee can be explored by both excursion boats and sailboats. Canoe trips from Eutin-Fissau are also possible, and there is also a swimming area here. Other swimming areas can be found in Wöbbensredder or at Hamburger Strand in Sielbeck. The swimming areas in Sielbeck and Fissau are unguarded. Anglers also have plenty of opportunities here, as the lake has a good population of zander, pike, and sea bass. Numerous waterfowl can also be observed here. Kneipp pools at the mirror ponds Since 1955, when Malente was designated a Kneipp spa, the mirror ponds have been used for water treatments according to Sebastian Kneipp. Since the constantly flowing, fresh and cool water is well suited for this, there is still a water treading area and an arm Kneipp pool here today.

Next to the Elisabeth Tower is the 179 m high Bungsberg radio tower, which was built between 1975 and 1977. From the tower's free-to-access observation platform at a height of 40 m, you can see large parts of Schleswig-Holstein as well as parts of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the Baltic Sea in good visibility conditions.

The height of the telecommunications tower built in 1977 is 179m. The tower is open to the public. There is a viewing platform at a height of approx. 40m, which can be reached via almost 200 steps. The view from up there is absolutely magnificent.

At 179 m, the telecommunications tower is higher than the entire Bungsberg. At a height of 42 m there is a viewing platform that can be reached via steps, from which you have a tremendous view over the whole of East Holstein.
