A nice circular tour around the Anninger and through the well-known wine towns of Gumpoldskirchen, Thallern and Pfaffstätten. A really beautiful part of this route, but you should be careful in the autumn when the deeply dug path is full of leaves and you can easily miss branches and stones. And you don't want to have a technical breakdown up there.

Quite challenging in both directions, especially the rocky part. It rumbles well downhill and requires trial skills uphill.

Beautiful fast descent through the forest above the vineyards. In wet conditions, there are a few mud holes that can be easily bypassed.

I'd definitely prefer the downhill section here 😅 But it's certainly interesting as an uphill climb too; the lowest switchbacks are always part of it anyway 😁

Yes, Mtbrat, MTB also consists of driving difficult, almost impossible places up and not just down 😊. And meanwhile, I've also driven through the upper rocky passage (happy) ... With the bio-bike, of course. Allegedly everyone can do it with an e-bike, many claim. 😉
