Perfect combination of culture, nature and hiking at the gates of Bratislava. The sand formations are very impressive and the birds sail acrobatically into their nest caves. Wonderful tour with a view of the Danube and March.

Fantastic hike in the Wachau. The climb is really varied to walk and the view of Dürnstein and the Danube is stunning. We saw super beautiful emerald lizards.. they were just a bit photo shy.
Clear recommendation for this hike..also because a visit to a wine tavern is recommended afterwards 😀

Trail training was the order of the day again today.
The Kaiserstein Trail went straight away. The frost trail is not a problem. However, the uphill afterwards to the Hase Bankerl is tough.
I couldn't drive through it. The last stretch at the top is a steep S-shaped slope.
I guess this easily over 40% incline

The Vogelberg Steig in the Wachau is more beautiful.
