Previously, MTB Schoorl was a nice route to pedal and occasionally a technical passage. Now it is just a few fiddling and hassle. Too bad. It could have been so beautiful!

24 km of pure madness – Schoorlse Duinen is truly something! It feels like 10,000 sand dunes that will drain every last drop of energy from your legs. There are three different routes with difficulty levels ranging from moderate to difficult – there's something for every ambitious rider. There's not even five meters of straight road, but instead narrow, winding paths that wind through the dunes and between the trees. Anyone who thinks the Netherlands is flat hasn't ridden this route yet. Compared to the Sauerland region, it's significantly more technical, with many tough drops and constant changes of direction. Sand, roots, curves – this route requires full concentration. Absolutely challenging, but super fun for anyone who loves technique!

Now it's downhill.....great descent that demands concentration

A top-notch MTB course. It runs almost entirely through the forest, is extremely winding, with great jumps, drops, and balance... there's something for everyone. It's also suitable for beginners. There are always alternatives to difficult sections or elements. However, if you realize you've misjudged the route, you can leave the course at many points and enjoy the beautiful Geestmerambach nature reserve on the bike path.

The part without the decking is really the nicest
