24 km and 680 meters of pure madness – Schoorlse Duinen is truly something! It feels like 10,000 sand dunes that will drain every last drop of energy from your legs. There are three different routes with difficulty levels ranging from moderate to difficult – there's something for every ambitious rider. There's not even five meters of straight road; instead, there are narrow, winding paths that wind through the dunes and between the trees. Anyone who thinks the Netherlands is flat hasn't ridden this route yet. Compared to the Sauerland, these are very technical singletracks with lots of tough drops and constant changes of direction. Sand, roots, curves – this requires full concentration. Absolutely challenging, but super fun for anyone who loves technique!
