With its 1,712 m altitude, the Lachen mountain is the highest point in the Var department. From this summit, the peaks of Corsica are visible on a clear day. To the north of this peak begin the mountains of the Alps.

From this aptly named bridge, you have a view on one side of the town of Castellane, and on the other of the Roc. This huge rock which stands a stone's throw from the city is a rather impressive natural monolith.
