This section of the trail is an absolute highlight: stunning, impressive panoramas on both sides. The best view is when you ride downhill, i.e., from east to west, but it's also recommended in the other direction.

At first you think, too bad those wide gravel paths, but luckily then the climbing starts. Cross a river twice via stepping stones, feet kept dry. Cool cave and fantastic views. Fun those climbers and abseilers along the way.

Fantastic walk. If you park at the Hotel. Walk back to the bridge and turn left. The path down starts immediately over the bridge on the right.

The hiking trail in the gorge is marked twice: with a yellow line and an orange line. Where the hiking trail splits north and south of the cave, you have to follow the orange line uphill if you want to get to the cave. The path with the yellow line passes below the cave.

This walk is great fun for the dog. On a hot day there are lots of water holes for him to go in.

The Blavet gorges are a rock formation carved into the volcanic rocks of the Esterel massif. Appreciated for its hiking trails and climbing walls, this incredible geological formation also delights landscape lovers. The ocher hues of its stones, mixed with the slate green of its groves, paint a most romantic natural setting.

Carved into red volcanic rock, this cave was inhabited until 12,000 years ago! The entrance to the cave is huge and the ceiling very high, which gives a spectacular view of the interior.

If you park at Parking des gorges de Pénafort you can find the start under the stone bridge. It is a nice location for walking. Depending on the water level, it is easier or more difficult to access. You can also go anywhere in the water on water shoes. It is not a round but a single way there and back. The view is very nice and it is doable with children.
