Very nice seating area with a table to rest and enjoy the area.

An ancient plane tree with a 6m trunk circumference and 20m height, it is therefore a natural monument. It stands at the top of the cellar garden, but outside the park's fence.

Great location with a beautifully landscaped garden. We had a very nice afternoon.

There is no better place to spend a little break. A great place.

The story can be read here: http://www.grosskarlbach.de/index.php/2013-04-03-13-26-22/sights: The building on the western outskirts of the town on the Mühlenwanderweg was first mentioned in 1797 as belonging to the Electoral Palatinate. At that time it was an overshot mill with three grinding courses and one peeling course. Friedrich Groos was named as the owner in 1817. In 1852 it became the property of the Eisenberg paper miller Johann Friedrich. He used it as a paper mill. It fell victim to a fire in 1859 and was rebuilt in 1861. Paper was made here until 1930.
