Be careful, the route isn't great. At point 4, between points 4 and 5, there's no longer a path and it's extremely steep, so avoid with children. It's extremely slippery! The return journey after the waterfall is all on the road. Take a path to the left that allows you to safely follow the road.

Hike made on July 25. Climb to the super waterfall. Then crossing the river without using the suspension bridge, in too bad condition. Going down the path stops before the campsite we find ourselves stuck by pig pens. It is necessary to climb a barrier where the arrow indicates it (orange-pink outline) then then to go up towards the right and to cross another portal. We then find ourselves on a path that bypasses the enclosures and allows us to rejoin the route. End of the journey made by the road, pretty and not very busy.

The Ortola waterfalls can be enjoyed all year round. They have a spectacular flow in the spring, especially when the melting snow creates a major torrent of the river. In the summer, the flow is less spectacular, but swimming at the base of the falls is refreshing.
