We were there twice - in mid-May - and each time we saw a large number of inhabited nests - a wonderful experience!!

We were here beginning of April and saw the colony of white storks busy with their nests - fabulous! There is also a range of wines which celebrates their reintroduction : https://perelada.com/en/our-wines/cigonyes

Beautiful stretch of the Àlguema River where near this crossing there is a spring that accompanies this stretch of river. If there is a path that says do not pass, please respect the neighbors.

Beautiful waterfall that is more spectacular when the torrent brings a lot of water from the surrounding area. This stream is called the Riera de Siurana although it is also called the Riera Pellingarda, and it reaches the Font Rovellada.

Nice walk, thank you! However, the restaurant 'La Caula' has been officially closed for several months. With a bit of luck, the village café in Les Escaules will be open, so you can also order something to eat there.

On my last tour past here, September 2022, unfortunately not a single stork was seen. If you want to see the storks, you have to come here in April/May!
