The Stoneman Checkpoint is one of five checkpoints where there are. A few kilometers after the Demut Passage towards Padola. For me it was the 3rd checkpoint (start Toblach) of the Stoneman Tour.

It is the longest trail I have ridden so far. VERY, VERY DEMANDING TO VERY DANGEROUS. There are places where you are basically riding along the top of the mountain. After the famous Demut rock comes the most dangerous part of the Stoneman Trail for ME, very narrow trail, BE CAREFUL (we were pushing). Of course, a GREAT view. Nice climb, which is also a bit dragging. Only relatively at the end, when the switchbacks begin, do a few beautiful views of the surrounding mountains open up. There's nothing up there. Just a few hundred meters away is a small, managed hut where you can get food and drinks.
