Waterfalls of impressive height, especially when observed from the highest pool. It is possible to bathe in both pools in summer.

After about 30 minutes from the start at Ferdinandea, you arrive at a solitary chestnut which marks a clear change in slope of the excursion, going from moderate to marked descent. From here onwards interesting views open up that range over the Ionian Sea, at the end, to move on to the two main valleys that the watershed of the path gradually allows us to discover, depending on where the path passes. Along the descent, on the opposite side, the waterfall is hidden, which offers itself splendidly to the view in only a few points.

Mount Pecoraro, 1423 meters high, is the highest peak in the Serre Calabresi, located in the municipality of Mongiana. It can be reached on foot or by bike.

Whatever their origin, the megaliths are worth a visit just to get an idea.

The hike from Ferdinandea is much harder than the hike from Bivongi.
