The fountain with its seven-meter-high water steles was erected for the Federal Garden Show in 1967 and is one of numerous works of art in the palace gardens. The circular area, with its benches, is a wonderful place for a moment of quiet contemplation.

Something mystical

The fountain, which originally had a different location, is hidden beneath bushes and can be reached via a short, narrow path. Thirsty walkers can fill up their water here.

Fountain created as part of the Federal Garden Show

The fountain was created by Hermann Goepfert and Johannes P. Hölzinger in 1967 for the Federal Garden Show. In the center of the complex, which has a diameter of 25 m, there are 13 parabolic columns made of concrete that are 7 m high.
