Covered pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Brettach river between the school grounds and the sports fields.

An imposing Renaissance gable adorns the former watermill. Outside, the millrace is preserved – it once ran through an archway directly into the mill building. A historic wooden pavilion can be found in the small park on the "mill island." The ground floor of the Brettach Mill houses a small village museum with a miller's workshop and restored pieces of historic mill machinery. It is open on select Sundays throughout the year and for groups by appointment.

The place invites you to linger—whether for a rest during a hike, a small picnic, or a convivial barbecue. Surrounded by vines and vineyards, it offers peace, views, and a charming atmosphere in the heart of the southern wine region.

The view is particularly charming at sunset, when the light bathes the landscape in warm gold – a quiet moment in the heart of the wine-growing south.

The town's striking silhouette, with Waldenburg Castle on the ridge, is clearly visible—often referred to as the "Balcony of Hohenlohe." In front of it, the Hohenlohe Plain stretches out, crisscrossed by fields, forests, and rolling hills.

The gently rolling vineyards of Siebeneich stretch along the sunny southern slope below the mountain forest.

Here you can enjoy a wide view over the vineyards of Bretzfeld and the Brettach Valley.

The small lake is surrounded by lush greenery and offers lovely seating and peaceful nature experiences. Swimming is not permitted here, as it is a natural body of water with no designated swimming area.
