A large nature reserve south of Stockholm with dense forests, numerous lakes and an extensive network of trails. A convenient starting point is the station Björkhagen.

T-Centralen station is decorated with the blue and white murals on the lower level (the blue line). One of many stations where the naked rock the subway was built in was decorated by various artists to make it more pleasing to the eyes of the passengers. Among many other stations are: Stadion - with the rainbow between platforms; Hallonbergen - with the kids sketches; Solna Centrum - with the red and green and motives of rural Sweden.

The Palace Park The extensive park surrounding the palace is divided into different areas. The Baroque garden, laid out in the French style, impresses with its symmetrical patterns and carefully trimmed hedges. The English Garden, on the other hand, is more openly designed and invites exploration with its picturesque paths and hidden statues. Scenic lake with shelters and fire pits – perfect for a break, swim, or camping. Plenty of spots around Trehörningen, even for bigger groups.

The metro stations are worth visiting..

The sculpture was created by the American sculptor Marshall Fredericks (1908–1998) in 1995 based on plans by the Swedish sculptor Carl Milles. Carl Milles sketched the sculpture in 1946 on the occasion of the founding of the UN in New York during a stay at the New York hotel The Plaza on the hotel's stationery. He saw the sculpture as a symbol of peace and as a tribute to the founding of the United Nations. However, the project was not implemented. 40 years after Carl Milles' death, Marshall Fredericks, a student of Carl Milles, created the current sculpture.

Beautiful little park - this is where Stockholmers take their lunch break with small meals and nothing to eat. It looks particularly great in autumn when the trees are changing color. It is also worth mentioning that there are even drinking troughs for birds and insects.
