슈발름-에더-크라이스‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪5‬개의 폭포

Christerode 근처의 폭포를 시작점으로 삼는 등 매우 아름다운 순환 트레일입니다. 순환 트레일(Bächeweg)은 길이가 약 8.2km이며 실제로 걷기 매우 좋습니다. 표지판이 정말 아주 잘 되어 있습니다.

A very beautiful, approximately 9-kilometer circular hiking trail around the Christerode waterfall. There's a small parking lot for hikers from where you can start. Signage is clear throughout, and the atmosphere is pure idyllic in any season!

There has always been a natural waterfall where the Buchenbach squeezes its way through the rocks in a shady, narrow gorge. In the early 1920s, in a small basalt quarry, stones for road construction began to be mined directly in front of it. When the company was shut down, the quarry gradually fell into disrepair and was misused as a wild garbage dump. With the start of land restructuring in Christerode in 1971, the plan was drawn up to expand this former quarry into a small pond. A dilapidated irrigation ditch was renewed to supply water. This is how today's waterfall was created, which falls over an approximately 11 m high cliff into the pond. The waterfall hut was built by the citizens of Christeröd themselves. The delicate, artificially created waterfall is 11 m high, but I found the torrent, which plunges down the mountain with a loud rush, much more impressive 👍
