The ascent to the well-preserved ruin is very easy, about 1.2 km and 150 HM. Thanks to the well-developed forest road with children no problem. Really something special is the tavern inside the castle, if you take something there you also save the 3 € entrance fee. Be sure to try meat from the smokehouse, plus a dark beer from the Tonkurg. Gorgeous :)
