The Zarrenthin Kiessee is an artificially created gravel pit lake in the Zarrenthin district of the municipality of Bentzin in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It was created as a result of industrial gravel mining that began in the 1960s. Geologically, the lake lies in a meltwater channel formed during the Weichselian glaciation. It has an area of 54 hectares, a length of 1.5 kilometers, a width of 500 meters, and a maximum depth of up to 28 meters.

Völschow was first mentioned in documents in the 13th century. The church was also built around this time.

The Ganschendorfer See, also known as the Schwarzer See, is located about 500m southwest of Ganschendorf, a district of Sarow, in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district and south of Demmin. The body of water is located on a road that branches off to the west north of the Ganschendorf body of water. The lake is surrounded by a narrow belt of trees, which is more extensive on the southern bank. There are several moorings in the north and northeast shores. There is a small bathing area with benches and portable toilets on the east bank. The body of water is surrounded by larger fields in the wider area.

Ganschendorf is a district of the municipality of Sarow in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The town is located about 12 kilometers south of Demmin. Idyllic village pond and neo-Gothic church. The Black Lake with a bathing area is nearby.
