The bathing area at Ivenacker Lake was lovingly renovated at the end of 2024. There are seating areas and sports equipment for physical activity.

Ideally located on the lake for camping fans

Small but nice. Lovingly designed. Here, too, water hikers, cyclists and mobile home owners make for an interesting mix. There is no WiFi, but a few steps away from the site is the Seeblick restaurant with good food. I was also given duct tape to protect the tent against rain, which was a prerequisite for staying.

Lake Kummerow is, after all, the eighth largest lake in Germany. Here at Kummerow Harbor, there are always impressive plays of light across the water and the beach, always worth a stop. On April 29, 2024, the "Hafenkieker" kiosk reopened here with a new operator and harbor master and extended opening hours. A short distance away is Kummerow Castle, which is worth seeing - especially inside.
