With this weir the Kornbach is dammed for the large pond. After the weir the water falls down - a small waterfall is created.

The small stream flows over the bare rock here. The humus layer has been completely removed. The water cascades down almost like a waterfall. Circular hiking trail 2 from Sophiental leads past here. You can take a detour from circular hiking trail 5.
