매우 아름다운 시설이며 그 뒤에 숨겨진 역사도 매우 흥미롭습니다. 꼭 박물관을 방문하세요.

One of many highlights of Jægerspris alongside the castle. Dismount and wander around the red brick buildings and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Danner Cafe or the excellent ice cream shop nearby offer a welcome reward.

A beautiful moated castle with a small museum shop. We weren't inside, so no information about the innards possible. Good to use as a focal point for hikes and walks in the area.

The first part of the castle was built in 1560 by King Frederik II, who had acquired the Hillerødsholm estate through a land exchange. His son, Christian IV, however, demolished most of his father's castle and built a new one between 1600 and 1625. It is built in the Dutch Renaissance style. Frederik II had several small garden pavilions built around the castle. The sauna, which still stands in the nature reserve surrounding the castle and is still used by the royal court, was built between 1580 and 1581. On December 17, 1859, the castle was ravaged by a devastating fire. The castle was rebuilt between 1860 and 1884 by the architect Ferdinand Meldahl with financial support from the brewer J.C. Jacobsen and later the Carlsberg Foundation. The interior of the castle church, however, suffered only minor damage and therefore remains in its original design. Source: Wikipedia

The castle in Jægerspris was built between 1300 and 1400. But like many other castles in Denmark, it has been expanded and rebuilt over the centuries. The oldest part is the right north wing with three floors. The south wing is from 1590-1600 and the east wing from 1730-1731. King Frederik VII's common-law wife Louise Christine Rasmussen, better known as Countess Danner, inherited the castle. She founded a children's home in 1867 and, with the King Frederik VII Foundation, ensured that the castle would continue to serve as a children's home and homes for poor and needy young women even after her death. Café Danner is also operated on the castle grounds as a social-educational institution. The café is highly recommended. See also: http://www.cafedanner.frederikssund.dk/
